Who we are

BidBuilders is a trading name of All One Planet Ltd (Company No. 11017373), registered office at Blackhall Mill, Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, NE17 7LH. Registered in England and Wales. ICO registration no. ZC188092. All One Planet Ltd is the data controller for the information described here. Contact: grants@bidbuilders.co.uk.

What we collect and why

Readiness checker: your answers, and your organisation name and email only if you choose to give them. Lawful basis: consent. Used once, to send the report you asked for. We do not add you to a mailing list.
Intake interview: details about your organisation and project, and your contact details. Lawful basis: contract (taking steps prior to entering a contract with you) and legitimate interest in operating the service. Used to match funders and draft your application.
Accounts (save & continue / free trial): if you create an account, your email address and a password. Passwords are stored only in a securely hashed form — we never see or store the password itself. Used to let you save your progress and log back in.

AI processing

Draft applications are produced with the help of Anthropic's Claude API. Your intake answers are sent to Anthropic for processing under their commercial terms; they are not used to train AI models. A human reviews every draft before it is sent to you.

Payments

Your first funding application is free and we do not collect any card details for it. If you later choose to continue on a paid plan, payments are taken by All One Planet (BidBuilders is a trading name of All One Planet) using Stripe as our payment processor. Your card details are handled by Stripe and are never seen or stored by us. We never take a commission on your grant.

Retention

Checker results are kept for 12 months, intake and bid records for the duration of our work together plus 24 months (funders sometimes ask for history), then deleted. Ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correction, or deletion at any time by emailing grants@bidbuilders.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

Sharing

We never sell data. Processors we use: Anthropic (AI drafting), Hostinger (server hosting, UK/EU data centres), and Stripe (payment processing, only if you take a paid plan). Nothing else.
